Terrain- This a lovely pine forest at 1400m above sea-level. It can be steep in places however it is pretty runnable throughout. There are some flatter areas of good contour detail.

Terrain- This is quite typical Spanish terrain (its rocky and bushy in places), however there are areas of really good runnability and offers good route choice.

Terrain- Faro 2 is the ideal sprint area. It offers fast running and interesting orienteering in a relatively car free zone.

Terrain- La Caderilla is Gran Canaria's highest map (1800m). It is a combination of runnable pine forest and some typical volcanic terrain.

There are approximately 10 different maps on the island of differring standard, at the moment Active Canaria owns 4 of these maps Maspalomas (2), Faro2 (3), Tamadaba (3) and La Caderilla (7). These are all newly up-dated maps (winter 2009).
However you can contact Active Canaria to buy any map on Gran Canaria.
