The race is centred in the village of Firgas in the North of Gran Canaria.  Competitors follow he historic Ruta de Doramas and choose between either a 27 km ‘figure of 8’ (3000m positive altitude) or a circular 15km route (2000m positive altitude, starting and finishing in the Plaza de San Roque in Firgas.

 

 

The route consists of only 10% roads and the rest is made up of trail, gravel roads and water channels. In places the course is technical along narrow a narrow gorge and it can be quite slippery. However the breath taking views and spectacular scenery make this an extremely enjoyable race.

Car hire:
You will not usually require a hired car during any of our trips. However, if you wish to explore the
island alone, or value that extra dimension of freedom, we can handle your hire for you.

Gran Canaria offers everything from zoos to paint-balling.
