On the weekend of the 22nd -24th  October a very exciting weekend of trail races will take part on Gran Canaria.

 

UTGC- Ultra Trail Gran Canaria is the first edition of a 175km pairs trail race, covering a large proportion of the island of Gran Canaria. The race starts on Friday the 22nd and is split into 2 days of self sufficient racing.

 

Challenge trail- This race is an established fixture in the Gran Canaria racing calendar and takes competitors diagonally across the island starting from Mogan at 06.00am on Saturday 23rd  and travelling to Las Palmas (85km).

 

Challenge Marathon- The Challenge Marathon starts at Gran Canaria’s highest point, Pico de Las Nieves (1.949m) and winds its way 45km down through the mountains finishing at sea-level in Las Palmas. (Saturday 23rd 12.00)

 

Senderismo- If your idea of fun is not running for hours on end through the mountains, why not take part in the weekend’s walking event. Hikers are invited to follow the breath taking trail De Tolo. This walk is roughly 18km and takes part on Saturday the 23rd at 12.00.

Car hire:
You will not usually require a hired car during any of our trips. However, if you wish to explore the
island alone, or value that extra dimension of freedom, we can handle your hire for you.

We can arrange any number of excursions during your trip.
Gran Canaria offers everything from zoos to paint-balling.
