Training with Pasi Ikkonen and Minna Kauppi

Yesterday Active Canaria had the pleasure of training with 7 times World Champion Minna Kauppi and former World Champion Pasi Ikonen on Llanos de la Pez (G-COM day 3).

These two Super Stars of world orienteering are spending a week on Gran Canaria preparing for the altitude that they will encounter at the World Orienteering Championships in France this summer.

Active Canaria planned a 5km orienteering course for the Finnish duo on Llanos de la Pez, including a 1.5km control-picking loop with 21 controls on Allan Bogle's newly up-dated map.
