Promotional Tour

Active Canaria are spending their summer touring the UK (and also Sicily and Portugal) promoting the business. Both Allan and Gordon are running as many races as possible, handing out leaflets and telling people about Active Canaria.

On Tuesday, Allan (and Alison) ran in Happy Herts Orienteering Club's evening training event in St.Albans where he bumped into St. Albans Striders Athletics Club having a well earned 'tea party' after club training. 

The idea is to meet as many different clubs and to try to encourage them to book a club training camp in Gran Canaria. December's Arucas Road Relays or the Gran Canaria Marathon in January would both make the perfect training/ competition opportunity. 

Allan plans to:

• Watch Alison, Rachel and Julie run the Stevenage Race for Life on Sunday 11th July
• Run the Happy Herts Evening Orienteering event in Stanborough on Tuesday 13th
• Run the Bamford Carnival fell race in the Peak District on Wednesday 14th July
• Run the High Wycombe Half Marathon on Sunday 18th July
• Run the Mount Etna Eco Trail race in Sicily on 1st of August
