Gordon Sutcliffe runs the 1st Carrera de Navidad Puerto Sport

Active Canaria's Gordon Sutcliffe's last minute decision to run Saturday's Christmas Race around the port in Las Palmas has paid off as he secured himself his new (official) PB.

Gordon, who is in hard training for the 10km to be held on the same weekend as the Gran Canaria Marathon decided to test his progress by running this competive race. Not entirely happy with his time Sutcliffe however knows exactly what to work on over the next month to get closer to the 40minutes mark, "I need to start to do more focus interval sessions to give me the speed I need in the final stages of the race" said Gordon after the race.
